Saturday 22nd July 2023 – Felting Workshop
After a fantastic demo, members of Kineton Art Group enjoyed a weekend workshop with Jacqui Smithson, learning about her process in felting.
“Jacqui Smithson was great, and we turned fluffy pillows of wool into a felted fabric!” – see the photos below to get a glimpse of the process and the results our members’ got from the workshop!
Saturday 29th October Mini Market 2022
This year we held a mini market / open day to promote our art group within the community. Some of our artists ran stalls with their own artwork. There were a range of items from originals and prints, to coasters, mugs and jewellery; lots of great buys for yourself or for Christmas! With that in mind, we are holding another market on 3rd December – so come along to get your Christmas gifts!
As well as the stalls, we also held a competition for the best ‘Harvest’ themed painting. Congratulations to the winner, Kathryn Wickson!
We also had a table of our artists demonstrating their skills live, and tables of activities for children.
